Shop Models are instruments completed in the Sea Cliff Strings shop, starting with an unfinished instrument from China or Europe. The work done here sometimes includes re-graduating the top, always includes cosmetic re-work, fitting with fingerboard and pegs, finish and set-up. The result can be very acceptable and the labor saved by importing the white instrument is significant.
We produce Stradivari and Guarneri models in two finishes, pristine and patterned.
